FULL MOONS

My friends and I are thankful for the nights with a full moon here. Since we sometimes have to cross dark areas with no light poles─and most roads have uneven terrain which makes walking in the dark particularly difficult, our work becomes easier if there is a full moon. First of all, we can do volunteer work in distant parts of our territory until later than usual because full moons light up the streets, and we can help more people. Full moons also add to the beauty of the quiet nights in this town. During the dry season, the sky is clear at night and we can appreciate the sharp contrast between bright full moons and dark skies. We have never asked for full moons, but we love them.
