A month ago, a friend and I had to make breakfast─oatmeal─ for 25 people. I thought we were going to need 3 of his cooking pots because they all were too small to make enough oatmeal for everybody using only one pot. He said, “We’ll talk about it tomorrow.” Next day, I got to his house early enough to make breakfast. When we were in his kitchen, I asked him where the 3 pots were and if I could turn on his stove─which was a regular one. He smiled and said that the pots weren’t big enough and took me to his patio. He had already started making the oatmeal in a really big old pot on his wood stove on the patio! Surely, that was a smarter idea.
